For my big '60' in May, I am taking on the 2016 Isle of Wight Ultimate Challenge - a 106km walk around the stunning coast of the Isle of Wight - all in one go over the weekend of 30th April/1st May. Ahead of this, on the 10th April, I am having my head shaved; to show my solidarity to women who experience medical hair loss and to demonstrate that you can still look and feel great whether you choose to wear a personally styled wig or not. 

Being passionate about helping women increase their self-esteem and confidence through improving their self-image and appearance, I have set myself the target of raising a total of £6,000 for three inspiring charities for the wonderful help and support they give to ladies affected by the personally devastating side-effects of cancer treatment.

mynewhair by Salons That Care is a pioneering charity founded by and inspired by Trevor Sorbie MBE. They provide public advice and support a national network of independent salons and professionals who provide a wig styling service for people suffering from cancer and medical hair loss.
