Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The little girl in the picture is my adorable four year old daughter, Josie. She was born with a genetic condition called Sotos Syndrome. As well as the physical symptoms, the condition is responsible for cognitive issues, developmental delays and autism-like symptoms. She's hard work at times, but we wouldn't swap her for anything.
Bromley Mencap have been absolutely marvellous in providing help and support to us; they work tirelessly for kids just like Josie, and of course grown-ups with learning disability, too.
As they've been so good to us, I wanted to give something back; hence me saddling up and doing 100 miles all around London and Surrey, heaving my tired old bones on my trusty steed up and over Newlands Corner, Leith Hill, Box Hill and all those other little pimples en route.
