Story
16,000 people die of bowel cancer every year in the UK, yet it is preventable, treatable and curable.
During my time working for Bowel Cancer UK, I have been humbled and moved by the incredible guts and bravery people with advanced disease show in facing their diagnosis and undertaking gruelling treatment. So I'm going to have guts too and will step outside my comfort zone and take part in a Great Wall of China trek.
The money I raise will be used to support Bowel Cancer UK's Time For Guts campaign ( http://www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk/time-for-guts/ ) which aims to improve the treatment and care of people with advanced disease and identify ways of saving lives so needlessly lost.
Please will you support me and help Bowel Cancer UK save lives? We must stop this and together we can, so please join me in taking action.
All costs have been covered so any money you donate will go directly to the charity.
I will be blogging as I go - so do keep up to date:
