Originally I plumped for the 53-miler on Day 3 as I'm not a long-distance cyclist and that seemed plenty far enough, but my initial training (cycling in stonking great headwinds and carbo-loading by way of cake) went so well, I have now decided to do the whole shebang - 200 miles.
I've upped my training to loooooong rides (now powered by flapjacks) and am getting a bit quicker and a bit better at hills but no better at navigating or reading a map. I don't know if I can cycle 200 miles over three days, but I will find that out at the end of June.
