Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know, I've been involved in the Carriage and Wagon department at the Bluebell Railway for many years. We have a fine fleet of carriages, but some are sadly neglected, seeing out the last of their days under tarpaulins in distant sidings.

We're raising money to keep these future restoration projects protected from the elements. Some are unique - the only survivors of their type; all are old. Any support you are able to give will help to protect the railway's carriage fleet.

The walk is 4.5 miles from Kingscote station to Horsted Keynes station, walking along the track. This includes a 731 yard stretch through the dark and damp Sharpthorne Tunnel.

And if you were wondering - yes, this will be a Pink Boots Production.
