Story

It was 10 years ago that my wonderful Grandma passed away. At the end she wasn't the same Grandma we'd all loved and known for many years after a long battle with Alzheimers. My wonderful Grandad cared for her at home for many years, and luckily he's still going strong in his 90's enjoying his 6 great grandchildren. Its so sad that she's not around to enjoy our expanding families and we speak of her fondly and the many happy memories we have of her and our time spend growing up with her around.

I hope that Alzheimers never affects my family again but you never know what the future holds which is why I'm raising money for the Alzheimers Society.

I'm not entirely sure how I've ended up running a half marathon. I don't really even like running....but on the 7th October I'll be plodding my way round WIndsor, and I hope your sponsorship will help me go that little bit faster. I'm not hoping to break any records, I'll be happy just to finish in one piece.
