Fundraising for The Philip Green Memorial Trust
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Wednesday 29th July 2009, come rain or shine, I will be running 11.2 miles from Bolton, Appleby in Westmorland to Helton, Penrith via Cliburn to raise money for the Philip Green Memorial Trust.
"The Philip Green Memorial Trust is a charitable organization which helps sick and disabled children all over the and overseas. It supports welfare, medical and educational projects as well as helping individual children to lead a normal life." - www.pgmt.org
What can your money do?
Little Jessica Donohoe has spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic disorder which causes muscle weakness. Jessica had to rely on an NHS wheelchair to get around but it was the wrong size and did not support her small body. Thanks to a donation of £8000 from the Philip Green Memorial Trust, Jessica now has a new, custom-made wheelchair and can continue to lead a much more comfortable life.
Of course I am not expecting you to donate £8000, but as you all know every little helps and together we can hopefully help sick and disabled children - like Jessica - to live their life to its fullest!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
"Every child no matter how sick or disabled, deserves a chance at life."
