7 years ago my family lost my Dad to a sudden heart attack. He'd never had any major health concerns previously and it was a huge shock that rocked all of our worlds.

The British Heart Foundation are doing great work at raising awareness of how to spot the symptoms of heart disease which is still the biggest cause of death in the UK.  I'm raising money in the hope that this great work will reach out to people, people like my Dad, and help them to spot the symptoms before it's too late.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my page.  I'm super grateful for any donation big or small and I promise to work hard and run my little socks off to get round those 13.1 miles (!).  I'll need as much support as possible on the day so if you are in the area, do come down and cheer me on :)
