I would like to thank everyone who has donated to Katharine House Hospice. When I  decided to run Stafford Half   I was running for the late  Ken Duke. But sadly  since then I've   lost a dear friend , Dorothy.

Dorothy  fought bravely against her illness and  like many suffering from a life threatening condition never, ever complained and always managed a smile no matter what discomfort she was in .Dorothy gave encouragement to me with my running and was interested in hearing all about the half marathon and seeing the medal. .

Dorothy was able to spend her last days at the hospice and I saw how comfortable she was and how caring the staff were to her.

This  fund  is  for everyone we know and love who may have to spend some time at a hospice.To help  continue the   comfort, support and care the staff give to the patients and the families.
