Fundraising for Breast Cancer Now
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I wil join family and friends (along with many from Rosemary Conley slimming group Redhill at the National Water Sports Centre in on Sunday 17 October to raise funds for Breast Cancer Campaign I do so in memory of my mother Elunid who sadly passed away from breast cancer in 1984 aged just 53 years. I was 18 years old when Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer - she was 43 years old. She was so glamorous and young looking it was hard to believe she was ill. She fought the disease for almost 10 years but finally passed away in March 1984.” She was my best friend who I miss terribly and not a day goes by 26 years on when she is not in my thoughts. She enriched my life and I am proud to have shared some time with her. If by raising money to help fight this disease I can stop others going through this it will be worth it. We all know someone who has passed away from this terrible disease, or is battling the illness, many survive but so much more could be done to increase our chances of survival but this costs money Over the years my daughter Kerri and I have participated in many events to help raise funds for breast cancer so I hope lots of people will sponsor me for Pedal it Pink and help Campaign continue funding vital breast cancer research.” I would like to raise over £3,000 so thanks to all that support me.
