I decided towards the end of 2012 that I would follow the steps of many people who have done something for charity as i've never done anything in the past. I thought it would be a good idea to tie it in with something I enjoy doing. As many of you know, I play American Football and as it's something a bit different, I chose to use that as a way of doing my bit to help the cause.

I plan on wearing pink boots, gloves and bands during my American Football games for the entire 2013 season. The players in the professional league run a breast cancer awareness month, which as many of you know, sees players in all sorts of pink coloured gear. When it comes to how much you choose to sponsor me, i'm really happy for you to donate what you feel you can spare. Every donation will help me and i'd be delighted if I could reach my goal of £500. Surely me running around in pink stuff making a prat of myself is worth it if I can help raise some money for a cause. Breast Cancer is a horrible curse that can affect us all. Nobody is safe and by making any donation you can spare, the money can be spent on research that could go on to save ourselves, our partners, siblings, grandparents, children, family members and friends from such a terrible illness.
