I am volunteering for CWB and travelling to Kenya in February 2024 as project lead with a team of virgin volunteers.

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS, equality and to raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.

Part of my agreement is to raise awareness of the charity and raise funds to cover the cost of equipment and its transport to Kenya, my target, £2500.
