Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 3 October 2009
I am part of a team from Michael Page which on 3rd October this year is looking to conquer the .
I will be supporting our charity partner of the year, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC). was founded in 1852 and is one of the world’s leading Children’s hospitals. It receives more than 200,000 patient visits every year from children all over the world. For many of the children treated at the hospital it’s their last hope.
GOSHCC faces a mountainous task of raising £50million every year to support this vital work. Michael Page is looking to do its bit and provide enough funds for a new adolescent’s recreation room.
My fundraising ambitions are no less mountainous and nor is the challenge - the – Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough await. No mean feat in itself but I also have to walk to each in turn before climbing. I am aiming to complete this arduous 25 mile hike in under 12 hours and as part of the Michael Page team that will raise a minimum of £15,000.
Thanks in advance for generously supporting our efforts in aid of GOSHCC and all the children these funds will go on to help.
