Story

Emma - Emma was one of those people…a wonderful being. She had a zest for life, a laugh and personality to go with it, once met never forgotten and that’s a fact!

She lit up every room and every event, you always knew that if Emma was going to be there the atmosphere would be electric. The events organiser and party extraordinaire.

Sadly, at 39, her life was destined to be moved elsewhere, whilst broken at her loss, also touched that all who knew her have a memory (or millions!) to cherish forever ❤️

Mam, daughter, wife and friend, but most importantly an absolute legend.

She loved her sports and being a fellow runner she always thought I was mad when taking on mega ultra runs. So for Emma and knowing what she would say, this next 86 mile ultra will be completed with her witty comments in my head and heart, raising money for St. Cuthbert's Hospice as they helped her and her loved ones so dearly when needed the most. I will be taking on the 70 mile ultra but will add the additional miles unsupported to ensure I do actually complete the full length of Hadrians Wall.

Emma amazed so many of us 💔 sweet dreams beautiful lady.

Irene - Irene Eva Peacock, was the best Grandma I could ask for some amazing memories which I now share with my boys. As kids we loved fried bread and bacon sandwiches in the caravan, family holidays with Grandma and Granda caravanning, playing football in her 80s with her grandchildren, Robert and Martin. This June I will be doing the Wall Ultra Marathon; 70 miles in under 24 hours, and an additional 15 miles in the same weekend, for St Cuthbert's Hospice, as sadly 85 years old was when Gran lost her fight with cancer (last year). St Cuthbert's did so much for Grandma Irene Peacock I feel it fitting that we repay their support by doing this epic event.

Neil and family 💔
