Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving Page.

St. Nicholas Church, in Laindon is a very beautiful, very old church which sadly is in need of urgent repairs, especially to the bell tower, which has been attacked by woodpeckers!

At a recent meeting of the Church Council our vicar, Diane, offered to do a sponsored walk around the Parish and I thought I would join her as she walked and probably take a few photos on the way! The big day is Saturday 18th September and we will be walking around the boundary of the parish of Laindon with Dunton. Diane has measured the distance on a map and thinks it's about 12 miles – so please help us to raise the money to repair our beautiful church by sponsoring me with as much as you can afford.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...
