Nepal is nestled in the Himalayas surrounded by the giants of China & India.  When people think of Nepal they conjure up, pictures of beautiful sceanry, great hiking and of course Mount Everest. For British people the Gurkhas who have for 100's of years bravely left their homes and families to serve and protect our country. Recently the pictures of the 2015 dreadful earthquake also come to mind.


What do I want to do: Make a difference to people lives. I am going out to a small community and help build a school. For children to have a chance to learn something that we take for granted. To be able to read & write and gain knowledge. Knowledge is power. They can use this power to make an informed choice of what they want to do. Or even just be able to read books that will take them to other worlds and lands of adventure.   I could be helping generations of people grow.
