When I was 10 I was diagnosed with diabetes. It was a huge change but the hospital showed me the Diabetes UK forums, which not only helped me and my family through my diagnosis, but got me over my fear of injecting in public and saved my life on quite a few occasions. Thanks to Diabetes UK and the hospital my family and I have not given up our hope, and wish to help provide funds to help find a cure and a prevention. Please help us to stop others from getting diabetes and to help cure those who already have it.
