Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm fundraising in memory of my uncle, Alan, who sadly passed away last year. The race takes place on 23rd April which would have been Alboy's 72nd birthday.
Although this is my first time running London Marathon, I'm hoping to improve on my marathon debut last April in Manchester.
Whether you knew Alan, or know how grueling marathon training is, or indeed know how much my wife puts up with as a consequence, I'll be so grateful for your support.
Isabel Hospice took fantastic care of Alan in his final weeks. In particular, they were of massive support to his family. The hospice rely heavily on charitable donations to continue their vital work so I am delighted to have this golden opportunity, doing something I enjoy, to represent them and honour Alboy's memory.
