We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

On the 2nd June 2006 I lost one of my best friends, Sarah Grace Scott to cancer. Sarah was only 35. She was and remains a constant source of energy, inspiration, courage and laughter to all who knew her.

Marie Curie played no small part in helping Sarah, her family and friends enjoy life at the time when it was most precious.

My challenge in memory of Sarah was to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at 5895m / 19340 ft and raise £5000.  At 8.44am on Monday 19 March 2007  I reached Uhuru Peak , the summit on Kilimanjaro having set off from Kibo Huts, base camp at 11.30pm Sunday evening.

The cost of this trek was around £1700 that I have funded personally. Therefore every penny I raise will go directly to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

A  big  thank  you  to  Richard  Worrall  and  Jonathan  Rowe  at www.visuali-s.com for their support.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Many thanks for your support.

David
