We manage donations from the games industry to support more UK children's charities

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This e-mail has been a long time coming.

It has been long overdue that The High Priest does his bit for charity. To be honest I have been waiting for the correct opportunity to come along – and it has.

On 18 August after three days at The Gamescom Show in Cologne, myself and three of my clients, along with two more people I have yet to meet will be embarking on an epic voyage of discovery, that will be testing all our strengths both physical and mental as we begin the long and gruelling bike trek back to Brighton England from Cologne Germany.

This is over three hundred miles in three days. 100 Miles a day 10 hours per day.

That’s some hardcore saddle time!

The fact I haven’t actually rode a bike in about 20 years I think really adds an extra challenge and dimension to the mix!

Madness I hear you think as you are hovering over your delete buttons as you listen to someone else pleading for a charity donation.

Perhaps – However I am willing to put myself through this gruelling test as I believe the charities we are supporting are more than worth my blood, sweat and tears.

All six charities provide critical support and facilities for  mentally and physically disabled children, be it in  the form of mobility equipment, work related learning, medical and technological facilitities. The Willow Foundation providing the terminally ill with some kind of positive and life affirming experience before they die – be it a drive in a Ferrari, a hot air balloon flight, a nice holiday etc etc, most importantly an experience that they share with their loved ones.

To me this kind of charity isn’t just important, it’s crucial - and humbles all us very lucky and healthy people.

It is an absolute honour for me to be doing this charity bike ride for these children and your support for this challenge would be greatly, greatly appreciated – no matter how small the donation is (here comes the cliché) – It all counts, and I think you will all join me in agreement that this particular request for your hard earned is more than worth it.

See the below links to check out the charities we will be helping and the just giving link of course for you crucial support.

Many Thanks
