It`s Monday the 21st and I am home.....at last!  What an epic journey. I have seen some stunning parts of the UK on the trip as well as a lot of tarmac sometimes too afraid to look up as there were just so many hills...! The first two days were accompanied by driving rain with a head wind where the average daily mileage was around 100miles. Days 2-3 we completed 260 miles in 16 hrs and days 5 to 8 were a mixture of not enough sleep and not enough energy but with the light at the end of the tunnel day 9 finally arrived and I am pleased to say I managed to complete the 1000 journey in 78 hrs and 5 mins....A trip of a life time.
