We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

Our dad passed away very unexpectedly on 6th April 2014, just two weeks before his 58th birthday. He had been receiving intensive treatment for Mantle Cell Lymphoma since 2009 but we were all optimistic about a recovery. Despite the pain and difficulty the last few years had brought, our dad was unfailingly funny, brave and brilliant. Our family is determined to carry on his legacy and celebrate him and what he loved.

We have set up the David Clancy Tribute Fund at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to raise money in his memory. As research into blood cancers like Mantle Cell Lymphoma is relatively underfunded, Dad felt very strongly about supporting the charity wherever he could.

A few weeks before he died, he told us about a dream where he won the Euromilllions; top of his list of things to do was a £10 million donation to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Though we don't expect to raise quite that much, we hope to raise plenty of money to help them continue working to beat blood cancers.
