Story
As we're sure you all know, the Hutchinson family lost somebody very special to them to the sporadic form of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease in January. In memory of Mum/Marje, Dave, Mike & Richard are running in the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham on the 11th September on behalf of the CJD Support Network.
The CJD Support Network is a small charity working to improve awareness of all forms of the disease and to improve the quality of care given to sufferers. They provide leaflets and information to the victims and families affected by CJD, and help comfort those coming to terms with the effects of the illness.
We are hoping to raise enough money to ensure that other sufferers get the same great quality of care that Marje/Mum and all of us received. We'd be really grateful if you could spare any cash to sponsor us and to donate to the CJD Support Network. Fundraising is vital to the charity, particularly in light of them recently losing their funding from the Department of Health, so every penny really counts.
If anyone would like any more information about the charity, or if you'd like to come down on the 11th to support us, don't hesitate to get in touch. Thank you for your support, and see you over the finishing line (hopefully)!
Lots of love, The Hutchies.
