Well we made it, thanks to the fantastic incentive of raising so much money for Demelzas.

We are really grateful to everyone who donated, it means a great deal to a lot of people.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Well we've visited the Hadrian's Wall footpath and can confirm that it

- is definitely 86 miles long,

- runs from coast to coast,

- gets quite hilly in the middle section and,

- the locals think we're mad for attempting to do it in less than 48 hours from 5.00am on Sunday 26 June 2011

Our hope is that our walk will raise £1,000 for the wonderful charity, Demelza Hospice Care for Children. Demelza cares for 700 life limited children in our area and, is very much dependent on voluntary donations to keep going.
