Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are running in the Yorkshire Marathon relay team, as Gail's primary school pupil council members have chosen to support this charity and they were short of relay runners two weeks before the event. As running has become part of our daily lives it felt right to offer our help and join them and raise awareness and hopefully some money for a charity that is helping children and families who are affected by brain tumours.

This charity is also close to our hearts as David lost his cousin 21 years ago from a brain tumour and so we want to do our bit to make sure other families don't have to go through the same experience that we went through.

This one's for you Jason.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

OSCAR's PBTC was set up in memory of Oscar Hughes, a 9-year-old who died of a brain tumour in 2014. His journey was heartbreaking yet inspiring. OSCAR's aims to provide support and care to children with brain tumours, raise awareness to help diagnosis and fund research into better treatments.
