Story
Nicola was, and remains still, the light of many people's lives.
She found the good in everyone, and grew the potential of all that surrounded her.
She was the advocate for those that others had forgotten; she believed in those that had no one to believe in them.
During her short time at Bury Hospice, the staff were chinks of light that allowed her to shine again. They were the wings that allowed her to fly again. They were the little dashes of hope that allowed her to enjoy life's pleasure again.
The staff are unsung heroes, and we want to show a little appreciation to those that cared for us, in such a dark time.

'Close friends are truly life's treasures. Sometimes they know us better than we know ourselves. With gentle honesty, they are there to guide and support us, to share our laughter and our tears. Their presence reminds us that we are never truly alone.'
V. Van Gogh.
