Millions of people in the UK experience social isolation or loneliness contributing to poor mental and physical health. Our Give a Quid campaign hopes to raise £30,000 to support our work across the North East to improve social isolation.

Story

Christmas is a fantastic time where we can relax with our loved ones, together in the spirit of the holiday season, but for some within our communities it can highlight their loneliness and isolation, contributing to depression and despair. Our Give a Quid campaign hopes to raise £30,000 to support our work across the North East to improve social isolation. The Foundation of Light uses the power of football to involve, educate and inspire young people and their families through award winning sport, education, employability and health and wellbeing programmes. This Christmas were hoping to raise £30,000 to support our projects that provide a balance between physical and social activity, and help everyone live happier and healthier lives in our communities. Your support will make this possible. Your support will make a difference.
