We provide exceptional care and support to people affected by life-limiting illness

Story

Ten members of Macclesfield Rugby Club will each row 30,000 meters in relay over 24 hrs using a single rowing machine set up at the Rugby Club. The pace needed to achieve the challenge is 6,354 meters per 30 minutes.

50% of all the money raised will be donated to the 

East Cheshire Hospice

 as part of our duty of care in the community and in recognition of the valuable work they do. 50% will

 go towards the purchase of kit and equipment needed by Macclesfield Rugby Club and to support the improvement of the Club’s facilities for the community.


The 24 hour challenge starts at Macclesfield Rugby Club at lunchtime on Friday 30th October 2015.
