RBLI's The Great Tommy Sleep Out, 25 March 2021
It's cold, it's dark, it's wet. Can you last the night? During the month of March, we are challenging you to join The Great Tommy Sleep Out. Sleep outside for one night to fundraise for RBLI and raise awareness of homeless ex-servicemen and women.

Story

The Great Tommy Sleep Out is a virtual challenge designed to build awareness and think about those that are homeless, especially at this time of year! There are over 6,000 veterans that are homeless and this is an opportunity to challenge yourselves and help us raise funds for veterans, and those with disabilities that RBLI supports. Many of these are living in precarious housing, or sofa surfing, as a result of broken families or personal financial difficulties. RBLIs holistic and practical approach provides help with adapted homes, depression, substance issues, health care, skills and employability, and tackles multiple issues at once. We support the most in need veterans, some of the most vulnerable people in the UK who are living with physical disabilities and mental health conditions. With our help they learn to overcome complex disabilities, homelessness, long-term health issues and addictions. Can you last the night? Sleep beneath stars and support our Armed Forces Community
