Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During the current situation, Covid-19 has prevented me from seeing my older three boys. This has had an impact on my mental health. I have decided that I need to utilise the exercise time the government have stipulated that we can take. I am going to run (or walk) the 135 mile distance (locally of course) between our house in Perth to my boys house in Invergordon. I start my annual leave on Monday 18th May, I should have been travelling to Bulgaria with our daughter, but instead I want to use this time to boost my mental health and raise money for an all important charity.
So why am I raising money for Perth Autism Support. Our youngest son was diagnosed with Autism when he was just 3 and a half. He started attending Perth Autism Support and they have helped him more than anyone can every know. He is now approaching 7 years old and during this lockdown situation has been struggling with lack of routine and having his classes at Perth Autism Support cancelled. However, due to fundraising the charity has managed to keep in contact with the children and families that they service. With over 650 families on the books at Perth Autism Support, the service is invaluable. Obviously during this time the fundraising can be limited, so I want to fundraise for them and give just a little bit back.
