I will be running the Rotary Shakespeare Marathon in Stratford on on 25th April 2010 to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Their work has saved millions of lives but there is still much to do. 1 in 3 people will develop cancer during their lifetime. In the UK, someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes and every four minutes another person will die. Cancer causes one in four of all deaths in the UK.

I have been running for a few years for fun(?) but this will be my very first marathon. I've been training through the winter (come rain, snow or shine!), suffered ice baths (screaming like a girl!) and blisters on blisters, but am just about ready to go!
