Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm doing the 10km Manchester Midnight Walk on Saturday 25th June 2011 for the really great cause St Ann's Hospice.
The hospice as many of you may already know is personally close to my heart as it was where my mother, Carmel Shortt, spent the last moments of her life under the care and attention of this great place when she lost the battle with bowel cancer in 2007.
The hospice is not government funded and relys on fundraising alone and to keep the place open takes £16k per day and cares and helps around 3,000 patients every year who are affected by cancer and non-cancer life limiting illnesses. The Hospice has 3 site across Greater Manchester.
It's St Ann's Hospice's 40th Year Anniversary so please donate if you can and help keep this this fantastic place helping out so many patients and families through the difficult times.
