Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please sponsor me for this 30 mile mid-week cycle ride from Newbury to Bracknell.  The event takes place on Wednesday 16th October starting with event registration at 7.30am in Newbury.  Its been organised by my company Vodafone and it is my chance to make a difference through doing something extra.  I have been out training for this with weekend cycle trips and additional visits to the gym to make sure I'm in good shape and not to mention checking that my trusty hybrid bicycle is in good shape as well.  Anyone who knows me will appreciate the challenege of me getting to the 7.30am start in Newbury is enough to justify sponsoring me!!

My chosen charity is ZANE (Zimbabwe A National Emergency) which helps the elderly in Zimbabwe whose pensions have been destroyed by inflation.  Last year ZANE fed and cared for 2,500 desperate people in Zimbabwe and has a reputation for making even small amounts of money go a long way.  For more information on the work of ZANE please go to www.zane-zimbabweanationalemergency.com.

Vodafone (my employer) will contribute £100 if I am able to raise £100 donated by TEXT so if you are thinking of sponsoring me please do it that way where the cost gets added to your mobile phone bill.  Simply text "DSAU99 £x" to 70070 with x as your chosen amount and Vodafone JustTextGiving will do the rest.
