Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be taking part in the 'Iron Butt Association' ride on 24 June 2017 and aiming to raise around £300.00 which will be going to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The Iron Butt ride takes place annually and there are three routes 1000 Mile Northern Route, 1000 Mile Southern Route and the one I am planning on doing, as it is my first one, 500 mile anti-clockwise route from Squires Biker Cafe, Leeds, across to Beverley, up to Whitby, Middlesborough, Newcastle (Tyne Tunnel), Blyth, Alnwick, Berwick on Tweed, Hawick, Carlisle, Whitehaven, Skipton and back to Squires Cafe.
I aim to do this within18 hours, should really be able to do it in about 14/15 hours I think, if I've got an 'Iron Butt'!
People see the Poppy Appeal collectors out and about in October/November but the RBL Riders Branch are fundraising all year round at events and ceremonies around the Nation.
If you attend a County or Country Show, a military event etc. watch out for the RBLR stand.
Thank you so much for donating to this cause, all donations will go to the Poppy Appeal to support our military, serving, retired, injured, disabled, down on their luck, it all goes to help them improve their lot.
