On Sunday April 21 I will be running the 2013 London Marathon. This has always been a personal ambition of mine and I have been lucky enough to gain a place to run for the Breast Cancer Care Charity. Many people can be affected by breast cancer throughout their lives. It may be you, family or friends, and as I have personally discovered it is very hard to see a person you love suffer from this horrible illness and the resulting consequences . Breast Cancer is now the most common cancer in the UK with 1 in 8 women being diagnosed within their lifetime which currently equates to around 135 women per day!
