We all know someone who has died from Cancer. My mam has had it and many of my friends have been affected by it. A few months ago my friend Carol Fenton died. She had fought this horrible disease for many years. Carol was a woman I didn’t know particularly well, but she was lovely, someone who made your day better by bumping into her. She worked for Macmillan and helped countless others. The day after she died I wanted to do something in her memory, but not just for her, for Everyone who will be knocked sideways by a diagnosis or a loss. Let’s do this for people like Carol, The Smile Bringers.
