Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
I have set it up in memory of my lovely wife Donna; Donna died of liver disease and now I want to join the campaign to beat it.
Donna touched so many lives, both in her home country of the USA and in the UK. Even when she was very ill her smile was radiant and infectious and no day passes without my remembering her with a mixture of smiles and tears. I know that there are many others who will never forget her either.
My Donna lived her last three years with me in England. During that period she spent a lot of time in hospital and together we also read a great deal about the research that was taking place into her condition. There were, and are, so many hopeful signs but nothing arrived in time to help her.
Now, in Donna's memory, I am trying to help that research by raising funds and encouraging my friends on both sides of the Atlantic to join me in that venture. I realise that this wont help Donna now but I also know that she would want me to do this for others.
There are over a hundred types of liver disease, each with its own individual effect. Not all are fatal but research is on the verge of producing potentially incredible results.
What is vital is that this research must continue. In Donna's name, I am supporting the British Liver Trust and helping in my small way. This disease can be beaten! There is no amount too small, or indeed too large, that won't be accepted by the British Liver Trust!
Please help me to achieve my goal of giving a life-saving gift to many people and of making it a worthwhile and lasting memorial to the most wonderful and inspirational lady I ever knew.
