Story

So, I was part of the Michael Page team which on the 24th of September conquered the Yorkshire Three Peaks, supporting our charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support.

It was a difficult challenge within itself, made all the more so as I was wearing a suit, carrying an unbrella and briefcase, had no waterproofs/thermals and had no insoles in my boots. (I now have a blister that is the same size as my watch!)

Part of me agreeing to wearing the suit was the hope of raising £500, which I did on the early afternoon of the Friday before the event. Thanks Paul!

It was an amazing experience. I made new friends with guys from the different offices, I had my photo taken with lots of random people who couldn't believe what they were seeing, I raised another £20 on the day of the walk through 5 random people giving me money. Needless to say, I had a huge amount of comments from other walkers on the day. The best comment by far was from from a young blonde (prob a uni student) who said "Mate, I thought I was tripping. I saw you further up the hill and thought WTF. I haven't had any gear in over 12 hours. You're real right?"

If anybody would like to donate more money for my efforts then please do.

Thank you all again.
