The Ride for Life is an 8 mile cross country trek which is a national event all over the country. I am taking part on the 30th June at Speedgate Farm Longfield Kent. Ride for Life has raised over £60,000 for Cancer Research in its previous 3 years, and my commitment to this great cause is not only to equi-navigate around the Kent countryside on my young horse Solar Blaze (I will probably have to carry him after the first 4 miles!... it’s true) but to be sporting "PINK".... yes.... that’s right, pink riding attire throughout. However, this charity is very close to me as I lost my mother 12 years ago to cancer, she was only 57 years old. This year 3 of my friends and colleagues are also going through their own personal battles with cancer.
