We fund research and raise awareness to save men's lives from male cancer

Story

Hi Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.

Myself and a group of friends are attempting to tackle the 3 peaks challenge in the summer of 2010 for five individual charitys that are personal to each individual. The Three peaks challenge involves scalling the three highest peaks in Britain in 24 hours , it will be physically and mentally challenging but for several very important causes.

I personally have chosen to fundraise or Orchid the only UK based charity that has the sole aim at at takling  male-specific cancer. I choose Orchid for several reasons , mainly beacuse of my personal exsperience of Testicular cancer the most common of male specific cancers. dontating to Orchid to helps them save lives and suffering caused by these diseases by funding medical research and promoting awareness about them.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer for men aged 15-45; each year around 2,000 young men are diagnosed and face the emotional and physical trauma of fighting this disease.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK with around 35,000 cases diagnosed and 10,000 deaths each year; this equates to one man dying every hour.

Penile cancer effects around 400 men each year; normally over the age of 60. Sadly one in four patients does not survive.

so dig deep every little helps donate now.

Thank you so much !
