Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be taking part in this year’s Hebridean Challenge as a two man self supported team. The Hebridean Challenge is a relay race using only human power to negotiate a course of up to 435 miles in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The route will remain as the classic 5 day multi-sport stage race, journeying along the length of the Outer Hebrides from the Island of Barra to the Butt of Lewis. The 2010 Race will be from Monday 5th July – Friday 9th July 2010 Not only are the islands wild, remote and beautiful, they also provide unique physical and logistical challenges due to the varied terrain, which ranges from rocky hills, rough grass and heather, huge white beaches and myriad small, and not so small, lochs and lochans. Each day will bring new challenges for us as we traverse the land by a combination of hill running, mountain biking, road biking, sea kayaking and swimming. Please support us to raise as much money as we can for this year’s Children in Need.
You can also follow our race across the Outer Hebrides via: http://heb2blog.blogspot.com/ see the what we see, how good is that!
See you all on my return
Dave
