For my beautiful & brave big sister

Fundraising for Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity
Two years ago my wonderful big sister, Joan, died of an aggressive brain tumour at the age of just 67. She'd beaten two other cancers and somehow managed to keep smiling through this new battle, but the brain tumour robbed her and our family and friends of a precious life.
Now, to mark my 60th birthday later this year I'm cycling Land's End to Joan O'Groats between 5 and 19 September with a mate Pete Forster (who's just turned 60). To help keep us going over a tough 1,000 miles we want to raise at least £1,000 for brain tumour research. It's woefully under-funded compared to most other areas of cancer research and survival rates for tumours like Joan's are no better than they were forty years ago. This is crazy when you consider the progress made in diagnosing and treating other diseases.
So, please, make a donation and help us to raise at least £1 per mile on an epic LEJOG ride. The more we can support this vital work the more it will keep our legs spinning.
