Story

HELLO!

I know what you are thinking....its another charity page. Well, yes, in may ways it is. But let me tell you how this differs. This is not a normal run. Sure, marathons are great and all, but why just run, when you can run AND get electrocuted, dunked in mud, climb up walls and generally destroy yourself all for a good cause.

In September i am running the Tough Mudder challenge in the South West. A 12 miles assault course. Now im not a tough guy, far from it. I like the occasional episode of Glee with a glass of vino. Which makes this challenge all the more interesting.

I am doing this for Alzheimer’s Research UK, a fantastic charity and one that is close to my heart. My grandmother suffers from dementia, and it is only when you witness these things first hand that you realise the effect it has not only on the individual, but also all their family.

So please donate what you can if you want to see me get zapped with 10,000 volts, run through fire and generally put myself through hell for a fantastic cause. Me being me, i shall be wearing a GoPro to document it all :)

Thanks again,

David Hedges
