Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
Barbara lived life to the full. Always giving 100% to everything she did, whether it was when she worked abroad, playing tennis, or being a wonderful wife and mother.
Never having had any serious illness, Barbara was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December 2010. Despite bravely facing chemotherapy, Barbara passed away in September 2011 at the age of 60.
My life and that of all those who knew Barbara, will never be the same. We all miss her so much and will never forget what a loving, caring, fun person she was.
During her treatment, Barbara was under the care of The Christie hospital in Manchester and always had nothing but praise for everybody that we met at the hospital. In memory of Barbara and to help The Christie carry on with their wonderful care, I am raising funds for them by running in the Manchester 10K race in May 2012.
