Story

I have very delicate feet.

Seriously. The soles of my feet are beautifully smooth and highly sensitive. Every night I soak them in a solution of salt water and fairy tears and I have to travel around cross-legged on a hovering rickshaw from the future just to avoid the harsh stones and concrete. So walking over hot coals and broken glass is kind of a big deal, yeah?

I've been training for four and half years for this. Every morning at 6am I get up and put half of my toes near to a candle, while the other half rest upon a window. Soon, I will be strong enough to light the candle. After that, its straight to the hot coals. Pity me. Support me.

Also, the Manchester & Salford Branch of the RSPCA needs a steady flow of income to keep on surviving. Dogs, cats, rabbits, staff, utilities and petrol still cost an awful lot of money, last time I checked and that is an awful lot of money that the M&S RSPCA just do not have. I know this for a fact.

The M&S RSPCA isn't some magic cash pit with endless supplies and a gigantic arc to keep animals before adoption. Their animal spaces are VERY limited and every penny scraped together has to pay for rental costs, food, vet bills, staff wages and everything else in between.

Despite all this, they do an astonishing job of rehabilitating and rehoming our society's most neglected and abused animals - the ones that most need help. The staff have to deal with some terrible, heart-breaking stuff and the only thing we can do to alleviate the pressure is donate, donate, donate.

So do it. Donate. Chuck something in the pot. My feet will thank you.
