It's that time of year again, where your Facebook and Twitter feed will be clogged up with appeals for sponsorship from people taking part in this summer's big event - Sheffield 14.

This year I'm proud to represent the British Heart Foundation, a charity that I'm very passionate about, as it was a heart attack that took Dad from us, so any money I can raise for this charity I will do.

So - as ever I ask that, whatever you can spare (even just a £1) can you please sponsor me for taking part in this years All-Stars weekend. Every penny raised WILL make a difference, and even if it's only one family that it helps to not go through the same trauma of losing a loved one through this terrible disease - that's your difference maker.......
