In April 2017 my 3 week old grandson was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. He and his family have been so well supported by the team around him that I want to do my 'bit' to help raise money towards the phenomenal research that is being carried out to help CF sufferers. Coincidentally I am planning to cycle from Lincoln to Rome in July and August - 1250 miles in just over two weeks, through 6 countries (and over the Alps!). It seems fitting that I make the most of this opportunity!!
