This is a big thingy.......I'm giving up alcohol for nine months from Sunday 27th March (stop laughing) to raise money for FASD awareness. Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) are a group of conditions that can occur in a person who was exposed to alcohol before birth. These effects can include physical problems/problems with behaviour and learning; my friend Sharon Jackson has done an enormous amount to raise awareness of this and it is something that has impacted one of her five adopted children, Rachel Jackson. They are both a huge inspiration and very special, amazing people......this is a big thing for me, but nothing compared to the challenges they both face, so it's the very least I can do. I'm sure some people will have their doubts! But I am 100% committed to this.......Feel free to turn up at some random destination that I am at with a breathalyser, I welcome it! Please donate, it's an exceptional cause and hopefully it will raise some more awareness of this at the same time.......so here's to four more days of booze in 2022...........sayonara old friend........
