Story
We “ David Clarke’s Top Tandem Crew” are riding a 980 mile cycling challenge from Lands End to John OGroats to raise money for the Princes Trust. The “Top Tandem Crew“ comprises David Clarke who is totally blind and will be stoking on all nine stages plus Bevan Clarke piloting stages one and two, Paul Rosenthal piloting stages three and four, Mark Bunting piloting stage five, Stuart Fox piloting Stages six and seven and Colin Crawford piloting stages eight and nine. The Prince's Trust carries out vital work to improve the life chances of thousands of people across the UK and we are determined to support their awesome work with much needed funds. As someone who is totally blind, riding on the back of a tandem is a way of appreciating the sounds, smell and sheer beauty of the countryside and it has been a long held dream for David Clarke to complete LEJOG to experience the full ambiance of the journey from one end of Great Britain to the other being out in the elements as opposed to the inside of a car which frankly could be anywhere. We realise that we are all going through tough financial times at present but we would all be so grateful if you would give generously to this worthy cause and power us on to complete this incredible challenge.
