Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fundraising for two reasons. The most important reason is for my Stap dads great niece, Elisha. I've known Elisha since she was 3months old and had recovered from heart surgery as a new born. Over the next few years I have watched her grow and start school.

Elisha has Turners Syndrome. This means she has had heart problems when born and she is smaller then most children. She has growth hormones every day and is really brave. Some Turners children can have problems at school but I don't think Elisha has, she's bright as a button. I think she's amazing and her mum and dad are great with her. She has a normal life.

I know what it is to spend time growing up visiting hospitals. On 11th June this year I had a  below knee amputation after having severe ankle problems for many years. The second part of raising money for this brilliant cause is to challenge myself, as I will be doing it as a 16 year old new amputee , just 2 months post op. I'm doing it for Turners Society, for myself but most of all for Elisha. She's a star!
